As we purposefully and diligently represent client interests, we will:

    • Adhere to the highest ethical standards of honesty and integrity, fully complying with laws, regulations and rules pertaining to our profession.
    • Create relationships with and for our clients based on candor and mutual respect, treating both allies and adversaries with respect and courtesy.
    • Avoid conflicts of interest and fully inform clients or potential clients when an actual or potential conflict arises.
    • Respect client confidentiality.
    • Exhibit proper respect for the governmental institutions before which we advocate.
    • Enhance the integrity of our profession while advancing public understanding of the importance of advocacy in the democratic process.
Note: These principles have been drafted and based on the Code of Ethics of the American League of Lobbyists and the Woodstock Principles for the Ethical Conduct of Lobbying. While not using their specific wording, the spirit of these standards is consistent with our common objectives.
